The Food of Course Kitchen

The kitchen is the heart of both the house and school and provides a warm and friendly atmosphere in which to learn to cook. Throughout the course there is always something bubbling, roasting or baking in the oven.

From the connected open plan dining room, you can enjoy the theatre of the kitchen during demonstrations or sit together to plan your next meal.

The large farmhouse kitchen has views over the gardens and has been thoughtfully designed and equipped. It includes an Aga as well as all modern cooking appliances and is the perfect place for students to develop their confidence and cooking abilities.

Residential Accommodation - Where You Will Be Staying

Students take residence in fabulous, luxury guest bedrooms nearly all with en-suite bathrooms. All bedding and towels are provided, and throughout the course you have access to a washing machine and tumble drier.

There is a sitting room packed full of recipe books for research and inspiration, together with a huge sofa for curling up in front of the TV and watching a film.

Students are welcome to enjoy the lovely gardens, play croquet on the lawn or relax with a book in the summer house. There is a tennis court nearby so please bring a racket if you play.

Middle Farm House accommodates a maximum of six students within the home itself ensuring small class sizes and maximum learning potential.

Kind Words from Students and Parents  . . .

  • "Thank you so much for your kind and warm hospitality over the last month. I know I am speaking for everyone when I say you truly make us feel like part of your family. Your laughter and kindness has really made it one of the most amazing experiences, so thank you so much. Middle Farm House is a fantastic place to stay, and I have really felt at home, despite being so far from home in Australia."

  • "It was so lovely to meet you yesterday when I dropped Georgina at Middle Farm House at the start of her course. What a gorgeous home, I wish I could have spent longer looking around your amazing gardens. I wanted to curl up on Georgina’s bed as it looked so welcoming. I left to the sound of laughter pouring out of the kitchen window. Georgina has barely had the time to call but I do know she is extremely happy - thank you."
